On a long overnight stay while working with Mesaba Airlines in Omaha, Nebraska I decided to try and go see some sites in Council Bluffs. I made it to the Iowa side of the Bob Kerry Pedestrian Bridge over the very high Missouri River only to find the Iowa side of the bridge closed. I had to turn back.
