| At the Old State Capitol in Baton Rouge. Dedicated in 1849 the building served as the capitol untill the Civil War when the capitol was moved to other cities. Durring the war it was used by the Union Army to house troops who accidently set fire to it gutting the building. It was restored and once again served as the capitol from 1882 to 1932. |
