North Carolina
Andrew Jackson's "other birthplace". Just across the South Carolina border from Andrew Jackson State Park is this monument claiming Andy Jackson's true place of birth. No one knows for sure. There are no signs directing you to this marker since the only way to get there is from US Highway 521 in South Carolina. They only put up signs for the state park. Just North of the state park in South Carolina you head East on East Rebound Road. You can't miss it!
