At the 1st Minnesota Infantry Monument in Gettysburg National Military Park. The 1st Minnesota on July 2, 1863 durring the battle of Gettysburg was ordered to hold off Confederate forces that were about to break through Union lines. The Minnesota infantry held off the attack long enough for reinforcements to arrive.
